(José)This research paper presents the results obtained during the project implementation of Discriminant Analysis to evaluate the improvement of financial indicators in the companies extracting crude oil and natural gas in Colombia that was initially a detailed description evaluation of organizational systems, the financial indicators, indicators of liquidity and debt ratios, Discriminant Analysis concepts in the evaluation of the impact of financial indicators in the companies extracting crude oil and natural gas Colombia. What allowed through a qualitative perspective, proposals and qualitative, descriptive analysis of indicators that best discriminated as a result of the evaluation of the indicators in 2004 and 2009 in the objective function so you can identify which variables to monitor for examine companies.Publicación Acceso abierto Caracterización y análisis del riesgo laboral en la pequeña y mediana industria metalmecánica en Cartagena-Colombia(2014-05-15) Morelos-Gómez, J. (Tomás)This article aims to show the characterization research and evaluation of occupational risk factors to which workers are exposed in small and medium Cartagena metalworking industry. The methodology used in the study included a descriptive analysis of the data, through the application of the techniques and tools of descriptive and inferential statistics and application of in situ structured instrument for collecting information. To develop this study took the total number of companies (16) metalworking affiliates Colombian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ACOPI). As important results highlighted in Cartagena the metalworking industry group with 25% highlights being the International Standard Industrial Classification (CIUU)289, related to the manufacture of other fabricated metal products and service activities related to metalworking. It also has that 7 of 16 employers say that the main agent to which workers are exposed is the ergonomic following chemical with 33.7% and security agents 32.95%, which result in occupational diseases, and these, in turn, decreased production efficiency in the engineering sector.Publicación Acceso abierto Diseño de un plan de mejoramiento para la cadena de suministro de la empresa Drolitoral S. (Juan Carlos)The following article presents the results of research that has as main objective to expose a model that includes processes for the integrated management of suppliers of goods and services of Research and Development Corporation-Cotecmar. The methodology used was supported by the provisioning matrix designed by Peter Kraljic and based on vendor management systems of Colombian companies such as Ecopetrol and Bavaria. The results show that given the nature of a corporation as Cotecmar is necessary to establish and implement the classification, evaluation, development and certification of providers, as a tool to further integration of the Corporation with its suppliers and in turn the definition of sourcing strategies that help streamline the supply chain and increase management capacity and the competitiveness of the organization.
