The strategies presented in this research are mainly to be used in a Short term period of time. The strategies were collected form a series of authors and investors that have compiled the methods they use to invest in the stock market. The strategies collected were classified according to the market conditions where they must be applied and according to the scenario that the stock must exhibit in the moment of applying these strategies. Moreover, this research’s purpose is to show that US stock market is a very good source of income if the risk of investing in stocks is managed correctly. A very successful way to manage this risk is to choose the right strategy and to place correctly stop-losses and trailing stops to assure profits. In this research, a real time simulation of each of these strategies was completed. From the simulation, the reader may encounter with very interesting results. For example, the most profitable strategy was Turtle Soup, which is a strategy that seeks profits on Short term tendency volatility. Two strategies had a negative outcome in the simulation, Pristine (gap upwards) and Jack in the Box. The most profitable market scenario was reverse market scenario, where only one strategy had a negative outcome.
