    In this project “Analysis of the reduction of logistic costs in the transport sector” we found that the percentage of mobilized products in the interior of our country is higher by land; high above others like train and boat. Thus, we focused in emphasizing in the most important factors impacting transport costs like the condition of the national highways, the acquisition of trucks with unnecessary properties and the localization of the distribution points which increase the value of the freight, value per kilometer, causing the over price of the products and decreasing the competiveness of the country in this sector.

    Every day in the market, customers are increasingly demanding, it is for this reason that companies should consider how to become more competitive and how that competitiveness can be converted into benefits for customers. For this specific case of DISTRIBUIDORA TROPICANA S.A.S, one of this aspects to improve and become an advantage is because the transport process currently lacks a clear and specific tools that allows you to optimize resources, is then where is the need to assess audience analyze and propose a way to work. For the development of this work it was necessary to understand the different and function and departments of the company and the industry in order to have a knowledge that would allow us to identify areas for improvement.
