    From past research on hydrological and hydraulic modeling of flood routing for the stretch of Medellin river between the limnigraphic stations RMS-22 (bridge of Girardota) and RMS-13 (bridge of El Hatillo) of the (EPM) Empresas Públicas de Medellín’s hydrometeorological instrumentation network, This paper was developed as an update of the modelation, using the program HEC-RAS 3.1.3 and HEC-HMS 3.5, improved by other programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and HidroSIG.
