    Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a much variable disorder in which diagnosis results are inconclusive, the variables used for it are qualitative and ultimately depend on the criterion of the psychologist. Hence, it is necessary to develop some type of test that can analyze physiological variables in search of some differentiation between patients suffering this disorder and people that don’t. A potential variable used in the literature for this differentiation is the ratio between theta and beta frequency bands obtained from the electrical signal emitted by the brain. Multiple studies have indicated that there is a great potential for recognition of the disorder through the electroencephalography (EEG) of patients. Results obtained in this study show a tendency but are not conclusive, thus it is expected to perform this test again in better conditions, with a greater number of patients and more repetitions.
