    Cells contain a large number of proteins, which provide shape and structure, as well as a multidimensional help the maintenance and support of the same. Depending on the tissue where it is, the cell has specific proteins that serve as a marker to determine their specific function. The aim of this work was to determine the behavior of the type II protein bone sialoprotein during the process of differentiation of stem cells derived from human adipose tissue into the osteogenic lineage, using the Western blot technique.

    Stem cell therapy may be an alternative option for the treatment of ischemic cardiomyophaty as it replaces dead cells for functional cells, unlike conventional treatments. The aim of this study was to investigate the ability of human adipose tissue-derived stem cells to differentiate towards a cardiomyogenic phenotype in vitro using the demethylating agent 5-aza-2-deoxicytydine.
